"Indelible Blessing"

   

"The Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make his face to shine upon you;

the Lord lift up his countenance 

upon you and give you peace."

A simple blessing leaves a beautiful, 

indelible (and sometimes chocolaty) mark on

us, our hearts and our spirits.

Tracing the sign of the cross on someone's forehead...

in this beautiful yet simple gesture, it's
God the Father that we
call upon to bring his immediate blessing
into the life of another.
How fitting and appropriate to share this heavenly gift.

Welcome to Jacob, who decided to make 

an early arrival one week ago today.  Not only was he six

days early but he came in the wee hours of the morning!

He is our ninth baby grand giving us five sweet

boys and four sweet little girls!

Jacob is the twenty-eighth great-grandchild for

Nanny and Papa!

Jacob, God has blessed us once again

by placing you in our family...May He always be your

Light and your Guide!

P.S. For the sake of posterity, I should mention that when
jabo found out that this little guy was going to be
named after him, he was driving home from our trip to St. Loius
with me, Kelly and Kate.  He nearly ran off the highway!! He was
so surprised and deeply touched at the thought of having a
baby grand named after him.  When Jacob was born,
jabo said, "Now we have enough for a baseball team!"

In seven years, Jacob, you can take a trip to
St. Louis with your dad and jabo too!
You will love the Cardinals, The City Museum and
The Arch of St. Louis...
but as Kate and Andrew will tell you...
"you gotta watch those dippin' dots!"
